- Playtech launched live casino gaming in both New Jersey and Michigan.
- Parx Interactive and Bet365 worked with Playtech to launch live casino gaming in their respective states.
LAS VEGAS – Both New Jersey and Michigan received access to Live Casino facilities via simultaneous rollout from Playtech PLC.
The Michigan Gaming Control Board and the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement approved the launch of Playtech’s Live Casino facilities on Friday.
Although Playtech has previously focused its efforts in Europe and Asia, this duel launch is Playtech’s introduction into the United States online gambling market.
The rollout comes roughly one week after Playtech had already established an agreement with Elys Game Technology to offer its online gaming products in Italy using the ‘Newgioco brand.’
Corporate Cooperation
In order to make the ambitious duel rollout possible, Playtech had to team up with two other brands to make it happen.
Playtech worked with the casino/horse racing brand Parx Interactive to ensure the Michigan online gaming launch would happen efficiently and smoothly.
“Our Michigan studio is being designed to be one of the more sophisticated studios tailored to the US market featuring innovation and entertainment at its best,” said Shimon Akad, Chief Operating Officer at Playtech.
As for New Jersey, Bet365 worked in tandem with Playtech to handle Playtech’s live casino games in New Jersey.
