- The Seattle Seahawks are 2.5-point home underdogs against the Arizona Cardinals.
- The total has a -110 betting line on both sides of 48.5 points.
SEATTLE – The Arizona Cardinals will travel to play the Seattle Seahawks in Week 11, where historically, the Seahawks fare pretty well against the spread as home underdogs.
The Seattle Seahawks have one of the best home-field advantages in the NFL. Since Russell Wilson joined the team in 2012, Seattle has covered the spread in seven of their nine games as a home dog.
Online gambling sites have Wilson and the Seahawks as underdogs on Sunday.
Seahawks vs Cardinals Spread Odds
- Arizona Cardinals -2.5 -110
- Seattle Seahawks +2.5 -110
However, this spread could depend on whether Kyler Murray is healthy enough to play for the Arizona Cardinals. Reports say that Murray is trending towards playing, but it’s anybody’s guess as to whether the line will move if he’s declared OUT or not.
Arizona struggled mightily without Murray last week, losing 34-10 to the P.J. Walker-led Panthers. A fair, yet oversimplified, take on the game may be that bettors are confident in backing the Cardinals with Murray playing, but not confident without him.
Betting The Total: 48.5 Points
The Cardinals are among the highest-scoring teams in the NFL, averaging 28.7 points per game on the year, but are allowing the fifth-fewest points per game (18.9) as well. NFL betting sites have the total set at seemingly too high a number for these two teams.
Seahawks vs Cardinals Total Odds
- OVER 48.5 -110
- UNDER 48.5 -110
An average Seahawks game sees 40.8 points per game as they score 20.1 and allow 20.7 points on average. Each of the last five Seattle games has gone UNDER the set total as well as in seven of their nine games overall.
The average Arizona game sees 47.6 points per game, but all four of their most recent games have gone UNDER 48.5 points. This game between two of the top 10 scoring defenses having the fourth-highest total of the week seems a bit off, even if Murray ends up playing.
The game will air on FOX at 4:25 p.m. on Sunday.
