LAS VEGAS – Following the Atlanta Braves 2021 World Series win, online gambling sites have the Los Angeles Dodgers listed with the shortest 2022 World Series odds to win for the third straight year.
They are followed close behind by the Houston Astros.

Backing The Dodgers Odds
The Dodgers finished the 2021 season with the second-best record at 106-56. Since 2013, they have finished in first place in the NL West division all but one year.
In those eight years, they have made it to the NLCS six times, the World Series three times, and won the World Series in 2020.
Some might consider this to be a scary offseason for the Dodgers as they are watching Clayton Kershaw, Chris Taylor, Kenley Jansen, Max Scherzer, and Cory Seager all enter free agency.
If the Dodgers officials can manage to keep their contending team together throughout the offseason, it would be very hard to count out their World Series odds.
Backing The Astros Odds
The Astros are coming off of a decent season as well having gone 95-67 for the fourth-best record in the league.
The Astros have been a force as well in recent years. Since 2015, they have finished first in the AL West division four times and have made it to the ALCS four times which has resulted in three World Series runs for one championship.
Backing up the Astros odds, even more, is that they were the highest-scoring team in the league last season with 863 runs scored.
They also have the fourth-highest run differential at +206 and were top-10 in runs allowed with just 658 home runs allowed. With that, if they can continue their high scoring and great pitching, they could potentially make it back to the World Series and come away with a win.
