HOUSTON – The NCAA Tournament Final Four is here and it’s the most improbable one yet. The highest seed is No. 4 UConn, followed by No. 5 Miami, No. 5 San Diego State, and No. 9 Florida Atlantic.
Miami (FL) has taken down plenty of tough teams but will face their biggest test when they square off with the UConn Huskies. The Huskies are rolling, throttling Arkansas by 23 and most recently dominating Gonzaga by 28.
UConn got out to an early lead in both of those games and never slowed down. The Huskies held Arkansas and Gonzaga to a combined 119 points.
Are The UCONN Odds Overhyped?
Based on seeds, Miami had the toughest path to the Final Four. They beat No. 12 Drake. No. 4 Indiana, No. 1 Houston, and No. 2 Texas.
Playing the role of the juggernaut killer, both Houston and Texas were the favorites to win the NCAA Tournament prior to their losses against Miami.
With UConn representing the favorite at -125, could Miami defeat the favorite for a third game in a row? The ‘Canes have covered nine of their last 10 games as an underdog.
Miami has been dependent on their three-point shooting all year, especially in the tournament. Despite only making two three-pointers against Texas, the Hurricanes still found a way to win and advance to the Final Four.
Their ability to adjust and win in multiple ways makes them dangerous, even for UConn, who appear to be unstoppable.
The battle-tested Miami Hurricanes +500 odds to win the National Championship on March Madness gambling sites are desirable based on their ability to take down the favorite.
