WYANDOTTE, Okla. – Oklahoma resort Indigo Sky Casino will be seeing a new streamlined way for patrons to access their funds for gambling
Indigo Sky Casino has partnered with International Gaming Technology (IGT) to bring its cashless gaming momentum to the Oklahoma resort.
IGT will combine Resort Wallet with IGTPlay to create a one-stop process for Oklahoma gambling patrons at Indigo Sky Casino to fund and withdraw from their accounts.
IGT Meets Sky Casino
Both Resort Wallet and IGTPlay are products of the IGT ADVANTAGE management systems. Indigo Sky Casino will allow its customers to utilize these products so that they can partake in gambling without the need to use cash.
The systems will be accessible all online so patrons can fund their accounts before entering the Sky Casino.
“Enhancing Indigo Sky Casino’s IGT ADVANTAGE deployment with IGT’s Resort Wallet and IGTPay modules will truly differentiate our gaming experience in Oklahoma and give our guests access to the industry’s most user-friendly cashless gaming technology,” said Melanie Heskett, Indigo Sky Casino General Manager. “As the demand for cashless and contactless payment technologies accelerates in nearly every sector, Indigo Sky Casino is pleased to be an early mover in this space by partnering with our long-time growth partner, IGT.”
The system works by allowing players to use a PIN-protected account that they can use the “carded cashless” and “cardless cashless” gaming options.
The differences are that with the carded cashless products, players will use the physical GO Rewards loyalty card to play slots, transfer funds, and cash out.
The cardless cashless options allow players to access the same options, but be able to use Sky Casino’s mobile app to access all of their funds.
“In deploying IGT’s Resort Wallet and IGTPay, Indigo Sky Casino will benefit from the many advantages of operating a cashless gaming ecosystem and its guests will enjoy added choice and convenience on the casino floor,” said Ryan Reddy, IGT Senior Vice President Global Product Management for VLT, Poker, Systems and Payments. “Launching Resort Wallet and IGTPay in Oklahoma, one of the country’s premier tribal gaming markets, reflects IGT’s continued leadership in the digital payments space and the versatility of the IGT ADVANTAGE casino management system and modules.”
When Will It Launch
Indigo Sky Casino plans to roll out the new way to play before the end of 2021, although no official date has been announced.
