- Lamar Jackson and Joe Burrow highlight Sunday Night Football’s matchup.
- Jackson has -115 odds to throw for more than 225.5 passing yards.
- Burrow has -115 odds to throw for more than 273.5 passing yards.
BALTIMORE - Two of the most exciting quarterbacks in the NFL face off on Sunday Night Football as Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens host Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals.
Total Passing Yards Odds – Joe Burrow
- Over 273.5 -115
- Under 273.5 -115
Burrow’s O/U of 273.5 passing yards is one of the highest of the week. For context, on Monday Night Football, both Patrick Mahomes and Derek Carr are tipped to hit 275.5, but very few other QBs are at this level according to the odds boards.
In three games against the Baltimore Ravens, Burrow has passed for more than this number of yards twice, but that understates how dominant he was in those two games.
Burrow passed for 416 and 525 yards against the Ravens in his two starts against them in 2022 – he carved them up.
Total Passing Yards Odds – Lamar Jackson
- Over 225.5 -115
- Under 225.5 -115
Lamar Jackson has played six games against the Bengals in his career, winning five. Notably, he was not starting for the Ravens in the game Burrow dropped 500 yards on them.
In those games, he’s only gone over 225.5 passing yards twice, once in 2019, and once in 2021.
In both of those games, Jackson threw more than 30 passes. There’s only one game Jackson played against the Bengals in his career that involved him throwing 30 passes and not hitting his mark, but three games in which he did not throw 30 passes and did not reach this mark.
Total Passing Touchdowns Odds – Lamar Jackson
- Over 1.5 -115
- Under 1.5 -115
Despite this relative lack of passing attempts against the Bengals, Jackson has passed for more than 1.5 touchdowns in three of his six career games against them.
Notably, all three of those games come in his last four games against the Bengals. However, the most recent game he had against the Bengals, a 17-41 loss in which Joe Burrow threw for 416 yards, Jackson put up only one touchdown in the air.
Total Passing Touchdowns Odds – Joe Burrow
- Over 1.5 -135
- Under 1.5 +105
Burrow has -135 odds to pass for more than 1.5 touchdowns, outdoing Jackson in this category due to much of Jackson’s touchdown potential coming as a rusher.
In Burrow’s three games against Baltimore, he’s put up zero touchdowns, three touchdowns and four touchdowns.
Note that the zero-touchdown game was from 2020 – before the Bengals added Ja’Marr Chase and revamped their offense.
