Texas Lottery Powerball
A Texas resident won $2 million dollars off of a Texas Powerball ticket. The player correctly matched all five of the numbers for $1 million dollars and doubled their prize because they bought a power play.
If they gone 5/5 on the numbers and gotten the Powerball, the player would’ve won much more.
According to the Texas Lottery Powerball, the payout for the exact ticket would’ve granted $119 million before taxes.
The player will gladly take their $2 million dollar win despite being so close to a generational payout. The winning ticket was sold at a RaceTrac in Plano, Texas.
