The Three Favorites
There are a few horses that have much shorter odds than every other horse in the field. Online gambling sites seem to believe Flightline, Knicks Go and Life Is Good are ahead of the field, but even show a decent gap between the three.
Knicks Go and Life Is Good are favored to go head-to-head for the win while Flightline seems to be slotted into third place.
Flightline (+450)
Flightline is one of three horses with odds short of +900, but sees the biggest gap between the horses ahead and behind him on the odds board.
It shows the books feel confident in Flightline to compete, but not necessarily win. Flightline is undefeated in three races but has only ever run a seven-furlong race.
Nobody can be sure how he’ll fare going to the extra distance, but it’s fair to assume he’ll fall off towards the end.
Life Is Good (+150)
Life Is Good is coming off of a Breeders’ Cup Dirt Mile win and is rightfully considered one of the top horses in the field. He’s won five of his six races and has beaten notable horses like Medina Spirit and Ginobli.
Plus, the only race he lost he finished second behind Jackie’s Warrior.
Knicks Go (+150)
Knicks Go could very well be the best horse in the race. He won the Breeders’ Cup Classic, Whitney and the Pegasus World Cup in 2021 and will now look to win the race for the second year in a row.
Those betting on horse racing should take advantage of getting plus-money odds on Knicks Go while they can as it may not be the case come race day.
