HARRISBURG, Pa. – Pennsylvania’s gaming industry continues to flourish as September‘s gaming revenue breaks $400 million yet again.
Pennsylvania Gross September Gaming Revenue
Pennsylvania’s gross gaming revenue ended up totaling $415.6 million in September 2021, making for a 46% increase from last year’s total September gaming revenue.

Not only that but last month was the best performing September for the Pennsylvania gaming industry to date.
Slot Machine And Table Game Performances
Slot machines and table games in Pennsylvania’s 15 casinos were also performing better this September in comparison to last year.
The total combined winnings from slot machines and table games were roughly 36% higher than last September’s performance.
This could be due to pandemic conditions since fewer players were actively going to casinos in 2020 due to health concerns regarding COVID-19.
However, it’s also worth noting that Pennsylvania’s online gambling September revenue was also 74% higher in 2021 than it was in 2020.
Is FanDuel Pennsylvania’s Favorite Sportsbook?
While Pennsylvania sports betting has been continuously growing in popularity over the past few years, one notable sportsbook seems to stand out above the rest.
The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) shows that the FanDuel sportsbook in Valley Forge Casino Resort accounted for 51% of the total September sports wagering revenue.
FanDuel also generated 66% of all online sports betting revenue as well, making it the most profitable sportsbook in Pennsylvania.
Lastly, FanDuel handled 32% of the massive $578.7 million September sports betting handle in Pennsylvania.
