ANAHEIM, Calif. - The next UFC event is UFC 270 and will feature multiple title fights. Betting on the co-main and main even can be beneficial if done correctly.
Francis Ngannou Vs. Ciryl Gane: The Main Event
The UFC’s heavyweight championship is on the line as Francis Ngannou is set to defend his belt against the interim champ, Ciryl Gane. Online gambling sites are giving the champ underdog odds.
Ngannou vs Gane Moneyline Odds
- Francis Ngannou +125
- Ciryl Gane-155
Ngannou, while not the most technically sound striker, can put anybody to sleep with just one punch. He’s won five straight fights by knockout and all of which came in either the first or second round. He’s likely the biggest puncher the UFC has ever seen, but he’ll have his work cut out for him this time around.
Gane will enter the fight with an undefeated 10-0 record and with experience beating knockout artists. He’s recently beaten Derrick Lewis and Jairzinho Rozenstruik and looked fairly dominant when doing so. Ngannou is the best opponent he’ll have seen, but it’s promising to know he can avoid the big shot from fighters with similar styles.
It’s tough to bet against a guy who can end the fight at any second, but all Gane has to do is replicate his past performances and avoid getting hit with a big strike to win. Easier said than done, but he’s done it over and over again.
Brandon Moreno Vs. Dieveson Figueiredo: The Co-Main Event
The UFC’s flyweight title is also on the line during UFC 270 as Brandon Moreno and Deiveson Figueiredo will fight for the belt for the third time. The first fight ended in a majority draw but Moreno won the second meeting quite convincingly. Now, UFC betting sites favor Moreno to repeat his performance.
Moreno vs Figueiredo Moneyline Odds
- Brandon Moreno -175
- Deiveson Figueiredo +145
For some reason, people continue to think that Figueiredo is the better fighter, but at least the sportsbooks realize that is not the case. There’s no reason for him to get an immediate rematch after the last fight as he’s not nearly as good as people make him out to be. Figueiredo has a negative striking differential in his career as he lands just 3.24 significant strikes per minute while absorbing 3.40 per minute.
Figueiredo relies too much on submissions and since Moreno is a black belt in jiu-jitsu, he shouldn’t be able to lock anything in.
Michel Pereira Vs. Andre Fialho
Michel Pereira is one of the more talented fighters in his division as well as one of the more entertaining. Although, he has had trouble being too entertaining and not enough of a fighter. However, he has won three fights in a row and is favored to make it four on Saturday against Andre Fialho.
Pereira vs Fialho Moneyline Odds
- Michel Pereira -285
- Andre Fialho +225
Fialho will be making his UFC debut which means it should be a relatively easy win for Periera as long as he fights within himself. At -285, he’s a great parlay piece and bettors could even look into method of victory props to get a better price on the fight.
