- Max Holloway is a huge -700 betting favorite against Yair Rodriguez.
- Ben Rothwell has -160 odds against Marcos Rogerio De Lima.
- Kennedy Nzechukwu is an EVEN betting underdog to Da Un Jung.
LAS VEGAS - Max Holloway is an overwhelming favorite in the main event against Yair Rodriguez this weekend.
Max Holloway Vs. Yair Rodriguez: The Main Event
Usually, the main event of a fight card has much more even odds than the ones set by online gambling sites for this weekend. Max Holloway is expected to easily get the win over Yair Rodriguez.
Holloway vs Rodriguez Moneyline Odds
- Max Holloway -700
- Yair Rodriguez +450
Holloway is constantly a part of extremely exciting fights, largely due to the volume and effectiveness of his striking. He lands 7.26 significant strikes per minute while absorbing just 4.58 per minute. Quite literally, there’s nobody that fights like Holloway.
Significant strikes landed vs significant strikes attempted for every fighter in UFC history.

Sportsbooks seem to believe that his striking will help propel him to another win. Truthfully, it’s tough to argue against it.
Ben Rothwell Vs. Marcos Rogerio De Lima: The Co-Main Event
The co-main event will be between Ben Rothwell and Marcos Rogerio De Lima in a heavyweight clash. Rothwell isn’t the most effective striker in the business which doesn’t bode well for any heavyweight in the UFC.
Those betting on the UFC can find him as the favorite despite having a negative striking differential.
Rothwell vs De Lima Moneyline Odds
- Ben Rothwell -160
- Marcos Rogerio De Lima +130
Rothwell absorbs 4.57 significant strikes per minute while only landing 3.71 per minute. De Lima takes part in slower-paced fights, landing 3.24 strikes per minute while absorbing just 2.11 per minute.
Statistically, there’s nothing that Rothwell does better than De Lima which makes it curious that he’s the betting favorite.
Da Un Jong Vs. Kennedy Nzechukwu
The closest fight of the night is expected to be between Da Un Jong and Kennedy Nzechukwu.
Jong hasn’t lost since 2015 while Nzechukwu’s only loss in his career is to Paul Craig. The striking numbers between the two are very similar as Jong outlands opponents by 0.05 significant strikes per minute while Nzechukwu gets outlanded by 0.03 strikes per minute.
Jong vs Nzechukwu Moneyline Odds
- Kennedy Nzechukwu EVEN
- Da Un Jung -120
There’s not much to indicate a difference between the two which makes the nearly even odds seemingly accurate for the fight. Nzechukwu has possibly fought tougher competition, but even then it’s close.
Jung’s wrestling abilities may be the only mismatch in the fight.
The event is set to start at 1 p.m. EST on Saturday and can be seen on ESPN+.
