NEW YORK - The New York Jets have partnered with WynnBET in a multi-year sponsorship deal.
The deal will involve WynnBET becoming the official sports betting partner of the New York Jets, coming after mobile sports gaming was approved by the New York State Assembly.
The Jets, of course, actually play in New Jersey, where sports betting has long been an approved pastime in both the retail and mobile platforms.
This partnership is also focused around a WynnBET sponsored luxury area of MetLife Stadium, which will be known as the WynnBET Green Room.
The venue will have a focus on integrating NFL betting into MetLife Stadium and will be open on Jets game days.
Jeff Fernandez, Jets Vice President of Business Development and Ventures, praised WynnBET as a prized partner and expressed words of kindness regarding the idea of the Green Room.
“WynnBET is one of the most innovative and forward-thinking operators in the LSB marketplace,” Fernandez said.
“The Wynn name represents a premium brand and overall high touch experience that fits perfectly into the aura of the Green Room.”
Further Integration Between WynnBET And The NY Jets
This new duo makes WynnBET a presenting sponsor of the Jets Podcast Network.
They will also be a presenting sponsor of pre and postgame content in local markets, which air immediately before and after every Jets game.
This deal represents another merging of the worlds of sports gambling and professional sports, specifically the NFL.
With WynnBET sponsoring the media outlets of the Jets, as well as a sports betting lounge in their stadium, discussion of betting lines and odds will be at a fever pitch.
WynnBET inked a similar deal with the Detroit Lions earlier in the year, and deals of this nature have been becoming more and more common.
It seems as though the search for profit has married these two worlds that were once thought to be diametrically opposed.
Gone are the days when sports betting was seen as a marker of weak morality, something to be discussed in hushed tones.
Now, sports bettors can wager in their own home stadium.
